Elizabeth had a field day from downtown, hitting nine threes in their 71-61 victory over Canon City on Thursday.
Elizabeth was lead in scoring by Tyson Griffin who put up 24 points while also collecting nine rebounds and two assists. Tristan Smith and Nate Lipka also had productive performances contributing 18 points and 11 points, respectively.
Both teams will stay at home in their next contest, with Elizabeth hosting Pueblo South and Canon City taking on Mitchell.
Canon City has not reported any team or player statistics from this contest.
