The Rocky Ford Meloneers beat the Fowler Grizzlies by a score of 39-31 on Saturday, Jan. 18.
Rocky Ford was lead in scoring by Abi Snyder who scored 21 points while also collecting 11 rebounds and one assist. Teagan Mendoza-Werner had a respectable night, recording six points, three rebounds and one assist.
Fowler was lead in scoring by Emerson Mason who scored 18 points while collecting 10 rebounds. Kaley Pieper had a solid night, recording five points, eight rebounds and two assists.
Both teams will go on the road in their next contest, with Rocky Ford heading to play Swink and Fowler taking on John Mall.
