
The Denver East Angels narrowly lost to the Pomona Panthers in a 74-72 showdown on Wednesday.
Pomona was lead in scoring by Isaiah Tshimanga who accounted for 30 points while also collecting four rebounds and one assist. Trevor Baskin recorded a double-double, scoring 25 points and collecting 15 rebounds.
Denver East was lead in scoring by Boston Stanton lll who put up 23 points, while also collecting four rebounds and two assists. Patrick Steed recorded a double-double, scoring 15 points and collecting 13 rebounds.
Both teams will go on the road in their next contest, with Pomona heading to play Arvada West and Denver East taking on Denver South.
