Mullen had a field day from three-point land, drilling nine threes in their 69-50 victory over Cherokee Trail on Wednesday.
Mullen was lead in scoring by Gracie Gallegos who accounted for 16 points while also recording three rebounds and two assists. Haley Van horn aided the effort by contributing 14 points, nine rebounds, and four assists.
Both teams will go on the road in their next contest, with Mullen heading to play Overland and Cherokee Trail taking on Arapahoe.
Cherokee Trail has not reported any team or player statistics from this contest.
