The Sanford Indians beat the Center Vikings by a score of 41-28 on Friday.
Sanford was paced in scoring by Asia Caldon who put up 14 points while also collecting three rebounds and two assists. Cheyenne Caldon aided the effort by chipping in eight points and five rebounds.
Center was lead in scoring by Alexis Varela who scored 11 points, while also collecting four rebounds and three assists. Natalia Cendejas had a good night, scoring eight points.
Both teams will go on the road in their next contest, with Sanford heading to play Sargent and Center taking on Sierra Grande.
