Three males and a woman have been charged with murder in the shooting death of a 23-year-old man in Wheat Ridge, authorities said.
Jonathan Joseph Montoya, 18; Jalen Isiah Wilson, 17; Christian Salas, 18; and Marissa Lawrence, 19, are charged with multiple counts of murder in the death of Ervin Spahitch, according to police and the Jefferson County district attorney’s office. Wilson is a juvenile being charged as an adult. All three males suspects have been arrested. Lawrence is at large; a warrant has been issued for her arrest.

On Jan. 26, 2019, police responded to the 3200 block of Gray Street on a report of shots fired. Officers found Spahitch slumped over inside a Prius with its engine running, according to a news release. He died at the scene.

An investigation by Wheat Ridge detectives and investigators with the DA’s office led to the suspects. All suspects face multiple counts and charges in the case, including first-degree murder and conspiracy to commit aggravated robbery.

All three male suspects, who are being held without bail, appeared in court Wednesday.
