Arapahoe was a force in the post, grabbing 60.6 of all rebounds and blocking six shot attempts in their 60-53 victory over Cherokee Trail on Friday.

Korey Hess lead Arapahoe with 13 points scored while also collecting one rebounds. Aj Scheckenbach and Bryson Stephens also had productive outings contributing 12 points and 10 points, respectively.

Cherokee Trail was lead in scoring by Isaac Tesfaye who scored 20 points, while also collecting nine rebounds and two assists. Phillip Toledo had a notable night, scoring 10 points.

Both teams will go on the road in their next contest, with Arapahoe heading to play Overland and Cherokee Trail taking on Eaglecrest.
