The Prairie View Thunderhawks earned a win when they defeated the Thornton Trojans 72-71 on Monday.
Prairie View was lead in scoring by Dominic Marrujo who put up 28 points while also collecting one rebound and two assists. Esaie Badibanga recorded a double-double, scoring 12 points and collecting 10 rebounds.
Thornton was lead in scoring by Alfonso Salais who put up 20 points, while also recording 11 rebounds and six assists. Tristen Rose had a productive night, recording 14 points.
Looking ahead to their next games, Prairie View will stay home and play Hinkley, while Thornton will travel to play Rangeview.
