The Burlington Cougars defeated the Peyton Panthers by a score of 48-42 on Saturday.
Peyton was paced in scoring by AJ Lashley who put up 15 points while grabbing one rebounds. Gibson Gellerman had a solid night, scoring 10 points.
Looking ahead to their next games, Burlington will stay home and play Flagler/Hi-Plains, while Peyton will travel to play Fountain Valley.
