The Evergreen Cougars earned a win when they defeated the Bear Creek Bears 57-50 on Monday.
Griffin Lauritano lead Evergreen with 26 points scored while also collecting 10 rebounds and three assists. Jackson Mott helped by contributing 15 points and two rebounds.
Bear Creek was paced in scoring by Luis Miera who accounted for 24 points, while also collecting one rebound and four assists. Xavier Herrera helped the effort by chipping in eight points and two rebounds.
Looking ahead to their next games, Bear Creek will stay home and play Dakota Ridge, while Evergreen will travel to play Wheat Ridge.
