DSST: Montview defeated the Lake County Panthers by a score of 69-57 on Saturday.
DSST: Montview was lead in scoring by Buddy Askenazi who scored 23 points while also collecting eight rebounds and one assist. Gerron Miller recorded a double-double, scoring 12 points and collecting 13 rebounds.
Lake County was paced in scoring by Fabian Jimenez who put up 17 points, while also collecting two rebounds and three assists. Dylan Windorski helped the effort by chipping in 14 points and eight rebounds.
Both teams will go on the road in their next contest, with DSST: Montview heading to play Arrupe Jesuit and Lake County taking on Middle Park.
