The Poudre Impalas narrowly lost to the Monarch Coyotes in a 49-47 showdown on Tuesday.
Natalie Guanella lead Monarch with 14 points scored while also collecting two rebounds and one assist. Emily Kennie and Arezo Safi also had solid games contributing 11 points and 10 points, respectively.
Poudre was lead in scoring by Brooke Bohlender who scored 20 points, while also collecting four rebounds and one assist. Bela Voglund helped the effort by chipping in 12 points and four rebounds.
Monarch will play host to Horizon, while Poudre will travel to play Boulder.
