The Academy dominated down low, snagging 66.1 of all rebounds and blocking four shots in their 68-29 win over The Pinnacle on Tuesday.
The Academy was lead in scoring by Aryanna Perez who put up 17 points while also collecting five rebounds and two assists. Mikylah Espinosa helped the effort by chipping in 15 points, four rebounds, and nine assists.
The Pinnacle was paced in scoring by Destiny Jacobo who accounted for 12 points while collecting three rebounds. Savannah Pena had a good night, scoring six points.
Next up for each team, The Academy will stay home and play KIPP Denver Collegiate, while The Pinnacle will travel to play Bruce Randolph.
