Fruita Monument was paced in scoring by Marcus Labonde who accounted for 19 points while also collecting four rebounds and eight assists. Ian Barnes helped the effort by chipping in 12 points and five rebounds.
Grand Junction Central was lead in scoring by Railin Manchester who scored nine points while collecting two rebounds. Gavin Myers had a notable night, recording seven points, two rebounds and two assists.
Both teams will go on the road in their next contest, with Fruita Monument heading to play Adams City and Grand Junction Central taking on Grand Junction.
