
The Evergreen Cougars narrowly lost to the D’Evelyn Jaguars in a 51-47 game on Friday, Jan. 31.
Maddie Topping lead D’Evelyn with 12 points scored while also recording two rebounds and two assists. Lexi Szathmary aided the effort by chipping in 12 points, three rebounds, and three assists.
Evergreen was lead in scoring by Avery Leinen who put up 14 points, while also collecting 11 rebounds and three assists. Anna Cimler had a solid night, recording 10 points.
Both teams will stay at home in their next contest, with D’Evelyn hosting Green Mountain and Evergreen taking on Littleton.
