The Pagosa Springs Pirates beat the Bayfield Wolverines by a score of 49-33 on Friday, Jan. 31.
Pagosa Springs was paced in scoring by Adelyn Dozier who accounted for 15 points. Hailey Griego helped the effort by contributing 12 points and seven rebounds.
Bayfield was lead in scoring by Maddy Oltmanns who put up 13 points, while also recording three rebounds and two assists. Brooke Merchant helped by contributing eight points, five rebounds, and two assists.
Both teams will go on the road in their next contest, with Pagosa Springs heading to play Montezuma-Cortez and Bayfield taking on Alamosa.
