The Salida Spartans beat the Lamar Savages by a score of 67-55 on Friday, Jan. 31.
Myles Godina lead Salida with 22 points scored while also collecting 10 rebounds and one assist. Jonah Ellis and Leif Gislason also had notable outings contributing 17 points and 16 points, respectively.
Lamar was paced in scoring by Juan Canales who scored 13 points while grabbing two rebounds. Luis DeLatorre aided the effort by contributing 12 points and five rebounds.
Lamar will play host to Manitou Springs, while Salida will travel to play Atlas Preparatory School.
