The Del Norte Tigers narrowly won over the Sanford Indians in a 48-45 contest on Saturday, Feb. 1.
Kendra Parra lead Del Norte with 15 points scored while also collecting seven rebounds and three assists. Gabby Jones recorded a double-double, scoring 11 points and collecting 12 rebounds.
Sanford was lead in scoring by Cheyenne Caldon who accounted for 22 points, while also recording six rebounds and one assist. Asia Caldon had a good night, scoring eight points.
Looking ahead to their next games, Sanford will stay home and play Sierra Grande, while Del Norte will travel to play Gunnison.
