The Mountain Vista Golden Eagles narrowly lost to the Douglas County Huskies in a 72-68 contest on Tuesday, Feb. 4.

Jaeton Hackley lead Douglas County with 19 points scored while also recording five rebounds and two assists. Cooper McBride and Tim Broom also had notable outings contributing 18 points and nine points, respectively.

Mountain Vista was lead in scoring by Reece Kelly who put up 19 points, while also recording seven rebounds and three assists. Spencer Thomas and Nathan Miller also had productive outings contributing 15 points and 10 points, respectively.

Both teams will go on the road in their next contest, with Douglas County heading to play Ponderosa and Mountain Vista taking on Columbine.
