The Cherokee Trail Cougars earned a win when they defeated the Smoky Hill Buffaloes 71-53 on Wednesday, Feb. 5.
Makayla Hemingway lead Cherokee Trail with 20 points scored while also recording four rebounds and five assists. Dominique Rodriguez helped the effort by chipping in 14 points, two rebounds, and four assists.
Cherokee Trail will stay home and play Grandview, while Smoky Hill will travel to play Overland.
Smoky Hill has not reported any team or player statistics from this contest.
