The Arvada West Wildcats narrowly won over the Pomona Panthers in a 77-74 showdown on Monday.
Josh Yago lead Arvada West with 22 points scored while also collecting nine rebounds and nine assists. Taylor Kline helped the effort by chipping in 20 points, five rebounds, and three assists.
Pomona was lead in scoring by Trevor Baskin who put up 30 points, while also collecting 19 rebounds and four assists. Cole Stevens had a respectable night, recording 21 points, one rebound and one assist.
Next up for each team, Arvada West will play host to Chatfield, while Pomona will travel to play Evergreen.
