The Battle Mountain Huskies earned a win when they defeated the Summit Tigers 63-62 on Saturday.
Liam Mckenny lead Battle Mountain with 21 points scored while also recording seven rebounds and three assists. Owen Ruotolo helped the effort by chipping in 20 points, five rebounds, and four assists.
Summit was lead in scoring by Hector Diaz who scored 22 points, while also collecting two rebounds and one assist. Cameron Kalaf aided the effort by chipping in 19 points, eight rebounds, and two assists.
Both teams will go on the road in their next contest, with Battle Mountain heading to play Grand Junction and Summit taking on Rifle.
