The Buena Vista Demons beat the La Junta Tigers by a score of 38-20 on Friday, Feb. 7.
La Junta was paced in scoring by Raini Tafoya who accounted for five points while grabbing 10 rebounds. Angelina Sanchez aided the effort by contributing five points and four rebounds.
Looking ahead to their next games, Buena Vista will stay home and play Manitou Springs, while La Junta will travel to play St. Mary’s.
