The Air Academy Kadets narrowly lost to the Coronado Cougars in a 61-57 contest on Saturday.
Ladarius Mays lead Coronado with 24 points scored while also collecting six rebounds and one assist. Brycen Scherr aided the effort by contributing 13 points and five rebounds.
Air Academy was paced in scoring by Tim Marshall who scored 15 points, while also recording 13 rebounds and one assist. Grant Featherston had a respectable night, recording 10 points.
Both teams will stay at home in their next contest, with Coronado hosting Liberty and Air Academy taking on Sand Creek.
