The Pueblo Central Wildcats won by just a single point over the Pueblo County Hornets, winning 33-32 on Friday, Feb. 7.
Jocelyn Marquez lead Pueblo Central with 16 points scored while also collecting two rebounds and one assist. Alicia Lest recorded a double-double, scoring 10 points and collecting 10 rebounds.
Pueblo County was lead in scoring by Hayle Herrera who accounted for 12 points while grabbing seven rebounds. Erin Mauro helped the effort by contributing nine points, seven rebounds, and three assists.
Both teams will go on the road in their next contest, with Pueblo Central heading to play Pueblo Centennial and Pueblo County taking on Pueblo East.
