The Sangre de Cristo Thunderbirds easily defeated the Centennial Rams by a score of 64-31 on Friday, Feb. 7.
Sangre de Cristo was lead in scoring by Kylee Christensen who accounted for 12 points while also collecting two rebounds and two assists. Ashley Mortensen aided the effort by chipping in 10 points and seven rebounds.
Centennial was lead in scoring by Randi Espinoza who put up 21 points while collecting two rebounds. Anastasia Salcido helped by chipping in four points.
Both teams will go on the road in their next contest, with Sangre de Cristo heading to play Aguilar and Centennial taking on Moffat.
