
Sterling made their presence felt from three-point land, drilling eight treys but ultimately lost 52-50 to Platte Valley on Tuesday.
Platte Valley was lead in scoring by Bree Bunting who accounted for 18 points while also recording 11 rebounds and one assist. Cora Schissler had a productive night, recording 13 points, five rebounds and three assists.
Sterling was paced in scoring by Jasmine Cardona who scored 13 points, while also recording four rebounds and four assists. Aubree Long aided the effort by chipping in 11 points, three rebounds, and two assists.
Looking ahead to their next games, Sterling will stay home and play University, while Platte Valley will travel to play Valley.
