The Simla Cubs earned a win when they defeated the Peyton Panthers 60-49 on Wednesday.
Taylor Warnecke lead Simla with 21 points scored while also recording five rebounds and one assist. Kaitlyn Rector recorded a double-double, scoring 15 points and collecting 11 rebounds.
Peyton was lead in scoring by Kayleigh Mannering who put up 10 points, while also recording four rebounds and two assists. Paige Gowen aided the effort by contributing 10 points and seven rebounds.
Peyton will play host to Dolores Huerta Prep, while Simla will travel to play Burlington.
