
Alamosa outlasts Montezuma-Cortez, winning by a score of 47-42 on Saturday, Feb. 8.
Alamosa was paced in scoring by Lilly Lavier who accounted for 16 points while also recording seven rebounds and three assists. Emily Lavier aided the effort by contributing 15 points, six rebounds, and two assists.
Montezuma-Cortez was paced in scoring by Myra Simmons who scored eight points, while also collecting four rebounds and two assists. Justina Bayles helped the effort by chipping in seven points and seven rebounds.
Looking ahead to their next games, Montezuma-Cortez will stay home and play Centauri, while Alamosa will travel to play Pagosa Springs.
