Deer Trail was paced in scoring by Brett Stoumbaugh who scored 20 points, while also recording six rebounds and two assists. Dayne Woodis helped by chipping in eight points, 12 rebounds, and three assists.
Both teams will go on the road in their next contest, with Genoa-Hugo/Karval heading to play Kit Carson and Deer Trail taking on Flagler/Hi-Plains.
