Monarch made their presence felt from beyond the arc, sinking 11 treys in their 58-39 victory over Legacy on Friday.
Natalie Guanella lead Monarch with 23 points scored while also collecting five rebounds and five assists. Abigail Russo helped by contributing 20 points and two rebounds.
Legacy was lead in scoring by Halle Mackiewicz who scored 15 points, while also recording eight rebounds and two assists. Westbrook Jensen had a good night, scoring seven points.
Both teams will go on the road in their next contest, with Monarch heading to play Mountain Range and Legacy taking on Dakota Ridge.
