The Peyton Panthers easily put away Dolores Huerta Prep by a score of 87-51 on Friday.
Peyton was paced in scoring by Shelby Miller who accounted for 24 points while also collecting five rebounds and five assists. Kayleigh Mannering aided the effort by contributing 16 points, five rebounds, and four assists.
Dolores Huerta Prep was paced in scoring by Bernice Bencomo who put up 16 points, while also collecting three rebounds and one assist. Elissa Velasquez had a solid night, recording nine points, nine rebounds and two assists.
Both teams will go on the road in their next contest, with Peyton heading to play Evangelical Christian and Dolores Huerta Prep taking on Non Varsity Opponent.
