
Vail Christian let it rain from downtown, drilling 37.5% of their attempts in their 70-37 victory over Paonia on Friday, Feb. 14.
Vail Christian was paced in scoring by Alec Moritz who accounted for 17 points while also collecting five rebounds and six assists. Hayden Sticksel and Jamison Lee also had notable performances contributing 16 points and 11 points, respectively.
Paonia was lead in scoring by Landon Thliveris who put up 13 points. Jai Petmezas helped by contributing six points.
Looking ahead to their next games, Paonia will play host to Rangely, while Vail Christian will travel to play North Park.
