The Lakewood Tigers narrowly won over Doherty in a 63-61 game on Wednesday.
Lakewood was lead in scoring by Nadia Trevizo-Medina who put up 25 points while also collecting three rebounds and two assists. Mariah Ramos aided the effort by contributing 14 points and seven rebounds.
Doherty was lead in scoring by Makenzie Noll who put up 13 points, while also recording three rebounds and five assists. Aujanae Latimer recorded a double-double, scoring 13 points and collecting 13 rebounds.
Next up for each team, Doherty will play host to Liberty, while Lakewood will travel to play Bear Creek.
