
Metro area residents will get some spring-like weather heading into the weekend, according to the National Weather Service.
Friday is expected to be sunny with a high near 57 degrees and an overnight low around 29.
Saturday will be even warmer, with some clouds and a high near 63 degrees.
The weather pattern is normal for this time of year, said Jim Kalina, a meteorologist with the National Weather Service in Boulder. “We can get really cold or we can get into the 70s.”
Saturday’s overnight low is expected to be around 32 degrees.
Rain, mainly after 5 p.m., is expected on Sunday when the high will be near 53 degrees and the overnight low around 24.
On Sunday night, rain and snow are in the forecast.
On Monday there is a 20 percent chance of snow before 11 a.m. The day will be partly sunny with a high near 40 degrees and an overnight low around 23.
There is a slight chance of rain after 5 p.m. on Tuesday. Otherwise, the day is expected to be sunny with a high near 50 degrees and an overnight low around 26.
On Wednesday it will be mostly sunny with a high near 48 and an overnight low of 26 degrees. There is a slight chance of rain and snow.
Thursday is expected to be mostly sunny with a high near 53.
