Denver weather: Cloudy morning skies dissipate as temperatures rise to high 60s Monday

There’s a slight chance for rain, snow on Friday morning

Patchy fog and cloudy skies will gradually give way to sunny skies Monday in the Denver metro area, forecasters said.

Fog in some areas will dissipate before 10 a.m., according to the National Weather Service in Boulder. It will be cloudy before the skies turn mostly sunny with a high temperature of about 58 degrees, the NWS said.

It will be sunny on Tuesday, with temperatures rising to about 63 degrees, forecasters said. The high will be about 67 degrees on Wednesday and around 60 on Thursday.

There’s a slight chance for rain showers early Friday morning before 1 a.m., then a slight chance of rain and snow showers between 1 a.m. and 5 a.m. It will be mostly cloudy during daylight hours Friday with intermittent snow and rain showers expected through the day and into the night, the NWS said.

The high temperature will be near 47 degrees and the will dip below freezing to around 30 degrees Friday night, forecasters said.

On Saturday, rain and snow could fall before it becomes mostly sunny in the afternoon. The high temperature will be about 54 degrees. At night there is a slight chance for rain and snow showers, when the low temperature will drop to about 30 degrees, the NWS said.
