Breezy conditions and sunny skies are forecast for Denver Tuesday and Wednesday before a slight chance of snow on Thursday, meteorologists said.
The high temperature is expected to be around 63 degrees with steady winds between 8 and 15 mph and gusts as high as 24 mph, the National Weather Service in Boulder said.
Snow showers and high winds are expected in the mountains Tuesday and Wednesday, the weather service said. Hazardous traveling conditions are possible.

It should get balmy on Wednesday with a high of around 67 degrees, the NWS said. Wind gusts up to 30 mph are expected.
There’s a 20% chance of rain showers from noon until about 8 p.m. on Thursday. It should be mostly sunny, with a high near 51 degrees. A mix of rain and snow showers could fall between 8 p.m. and 10 p.m., then a slight chance of snow showers after 10 p.m., weather forecasters said. There’s a 40% chance of precipitation.
Temperatures are forecast to dip to just below freezing at about 31 degrees Thursday night, the NWS said.
It could be snowy and chilly Friday with a high temperature of about 41 degrees, the weather service said. Snow is expected to continue mainly before midnight on Friday, the weather service said.
It is expected to warm up on Saturday, with a high temperature of about 58 degrees. Sunday’s high should be near 54 degrees, the NWS said.
There’s a slight chance for rain and snow showers Sunday night and Monday, forecasters said.
