Itap part of fifth top-rated ski resort on the entire planet — ranked as “Best in the West” by Ski Magazine — at a destination thatap the only one outside the Alps that regularly sees homes sell for $25 million.
So, when ownerships in a new building at the heart of Snowmass Village — steps from the gondola — are offered at prices from $200,000, itap worth paying attention.
Thatap the entry price for fractional ownerships in the newly released One Snowmass Residence Club, a luxury residential project in two new cornerstone buildings called One Snowmass, wrapped in shopping and dining that arrived with a $600 million makeover of Snowmass’ base village.
A collaboration between KSL, Aspen Ski Co. and East West Partners, One Snowmass is in final construction now — already welcoming new owners to finished units, where they discover the new village, spend evenings on their rooftop Sky Terrace with a fire pit and infinity spa, and enjoy a yoga studio, 2,500-foot fitness facility and more.
Eleven two-to-four-bedroom residences are set aside for fractional ownerships, from $200,000 depending on size and guaranteed primary-use periods. Unlike typical residence clubs, One Snowmass offers an opportunity to own fixed-use periods, with flexible use each year. Ownership structures are an improvement over typical fractionals, says Greg Traxler, project director of marketing and sales for One Snowmass Residence Club.
“We drew upon our resources and experiences over the last 30 years to attempt to improve the standard model and hopefully remove the drawbacks of previous fractional projects,” Traxler adds. “One of the challenges has been the lack of an exit strategy after lifestyle changes outgrow ownership.”
At One Snowmass, after 10 years in The Residence Club, owners can vote to sell as whole ownerships and share in the proceeds proportionally.
You can come check it out this weekend (March 14-15) while Snowmass is reporting 58-inch mid-mountain depths. Tour the new residences and amenities, and if you like their looks, The Residence Club still has a few Founder Member positions available that include a 10% reduction from list price.
Traxler adds that you’ll also get four premier ski passes for the first two seasons at Snowmass and Aspen’s other three mountains, plus a five-year membership in Inspirato, a premier destination club with access to luxury homes and estates around the world — made available without an outdated exchange process or time deposits.
Premium two-, three- and four-bedroom options all show quality finishes, says Traxler.
“Our new owners include those who already own second homes and don’t wish for another, as well as younger parties not quite ready to purchase whole ownerships in the Aspen area, but who still want Aspen’s skiing experience and a high quality of residency,” he says.
The crew at One Snowmass Residence Club has also created a reservation app that owners can access 24/7 to reserve a residence from their phone or laptop. Traxler says the experience is a lot like Lyft, where you get a real-time view of availability and a confirmation that you’re booked.
Resident-owners are also awaiting the arrival of a new Tesla Model X that One Snowmass has ordered for private owner trips into Aspen. If you’re interested, the One Snowmass Residence Club Team can host you at the village for a “Stay-and-Play” experience of ownership, using the amenities that are the new Snowmass Base Village.
