A flash fire scorched the second-floor walls of a Lakewood apartment and seriously injured one person who was hospitalized late Thursday night.
A second person was also injured during the fire and was evaluated by emergency workers, according to a West Metro Fire Protection District tweet.
The identity of the the injured person has not been released.
An investigator is at the fire on the 5500 block of West 4th Avenue.
Our crews tonight on an apartment fire in the 5500 block of West 4th Ave. The fire was a flash fire in a second story apartment. One person was seriously injured and taken to the hospital. Another person also injured and being evaluated. Investigator is on scene.
