The Peyton Panthers earned a win when they defeated the Calhan Bulldogs 60-41 on Saturday, Feb. 22.
Shelby Miller lead Peyton with 14 points scored. Kayleigh Mannering helped the effort by contributing 13 points.
Calhan was paced in scoring by Jaiden Monger who accounted for 12 points, while also recording 10 rebounds and four assists. Justine Hodges had a solid night, recording seven points, two rebounds and four assists.
Both teams will go on the road in their next contest, with Peyton heading to play Thomas MacLaren School and Calhan taking on Dolores Huerta Prep.
