Rock-scaling operations on U.S. 285 along Kenosha Pass could result in 10-minute delays for drivers and travelers using the roadway.

The work, beginning Monday, will take place between Jefferson and Grant and the scaling should take about a week to complete, according to a Colorado Department of Transportation news release.

Drivers should expect up to 10-minutes delays during daytime hours, CDOT said. The rock fall mitigation work, a component of highway safety, is expected to be complete by April 24.

Drivers are urged to be alert, drive cautiously and not speed through work zones.
