
A chance of showers and thunderstorms for Denver will linger through the weekend, but Monday starts a sunny stretch for the city with unseasonably high temperatures jetting into the upper 70s and lower 80s.
There’s a 20% chance of showers, under mostly sunny skies, in Denver on Saturday, according to the National Weather Service. The high temperature will be about 62 degrees.
In the mountains on Saturday there’s a chance of showers, with the snow level at about 7,500 feet.
On Sunday in Denver there’s a 10% chance of showers with possible thunderstorms after 3 p.m., the weather service said. Skies will be partly sunny, the high temperature should hit 72 degrees and winds will gust to 16 mph.
Late in the day Sunday there’s a chance for widespread showers and thunderstorms in the mountains, the foothills and the Eastern Plains, according to the weather service.
Come Monday, however, it’s sunshine and warmth. Denver will see mostly sunny to sunny skies through the week, with temperatures in the upper 70s early in the week before temps climb into the lower 80s late in the week. Overnight lows in Denver during the week will be in the upper 40s, with lower 50s by the week’s end.
