A woman who was found shot on the side of Interstate 70 in Denver on Monday morning has died and police are investigating it as homicide.
Around 4:45 a.m. Monday, police found a woman with a gunshot wound in the driver’s seat of a vehicle on the side of the highway near the Colorado Boulevard exit, Denver police tweeted.
She was transported to the hospital in serious but stable condition. On Saturday morning, the woman died from her injuries in the hospital, police said.
