Denver weather: Another slight chance of rain and thunderstorms Monday

Denver has a slight chance for rain and thunderstorms before 9 a.m. and after 3 p.m. on Monday but the forecast calls for mostly sunny skies, weather forecasters said.

The high temperature Monday is expected to be about 67 degrees. The chance of precipitation is 20%, said the National Weather Service in Boulder. Temperatures will dip to about 38 degrees Monday night.

It will be warmer with mostly clear skies on Tuesday. The high temperature will be about 70 degrees, the NWS said. It will be a bit warmer Wednesday, with a high of about 73 degrees, forecasters said.

Breezy conditions are expected Thursday, when the high temperature will top out at about 74 degrees, the NWS said.

There’s a slight chance of rain showers and thunderstorms both on Friday and Saturday. Temperatures will rise to about 60 degrees on Friday and 63 on Saturday, forecasters said.
