Two suspects have been arrested for the death of a Commerce City man.

Kyle Schneider, 26, and David Jacobs, 41, both of Commerce City, were arrested Monday and booked into the Adams County Jail on suspicion of first-degree murder, police said in a news release.

On Friday, neighbors found a man’s body inside a residence in the 7000 block of Garden Lane. The victim has been identified as 67-year-old Larry “Eddie” Gomez. An investigation is ongoing.

The cause and manner of Gomez’s death, to be determined by the coroner’s office, had not yet been announced as of Tuesday afternoon.
