Aurora police are investigating a possible hit-and-run that left a man dead in the street early Monday.
Around 1 a.m. Monday, officers with the Aurora Police Department, as well as Aurora Fire Rescue, responded to a report of a man in the roadway on S. Parker Road near the Nine Mile RTD Station.
When they arrived at the scene, officers found a man in the middle of the road of the exit lane from southbound I-225 to southbound Parker Road, according to police. Authorities with Aurora Fire Rescue attempted life-saving measures, but the man’s injuries were too severe. He was pronounced deceased at the scene.
