As testing ramps up across Colorado, the state aims to do 10,000 tests a day by the start of flu season. Meanwhile, the large spreading events that drove the state’s COVID-19 epidemic may be coming under control as the growth of outbreaks slows.
So far, the state has recorded 27,060 COVID-19 cases and 4,443 total hospitalizations. The latest numbers continue the trend that shows a slow of the spread and continuously fewer hospitalizations.
