Denver weather: Sunny and dry today with highs in the 80s

Denver returns to seasonal temperatures today with sunny weather and a high near 85. There is no rain in the forecast, according to the National Weather Service.

Sunday and Monday will be mostly sunny with highs in the low- to mid-80s and a 30% chance of thunderstorms Monday afternoon and evening. Tuesday has a forecast high of 80 and temperatures could hit 86 on Wednesday. Both days should be mostly sunny with a chance of storms in the afternoon.

High temperatures Thursday and Friday will be in the low 90s.

The earliest summer solstice in 124 years arrives at 3:43 p.m. today. It’s the longest day of the year.

Boulder and Fort Collins will see temperatures in the mid-80s today and Colorado Springs could hit a high of 82.

High temperatures in the foothills will stay in the 70s with temperatures in the mountains hovering in the 60s. The Eastern Plains will see temperatures in the mid-80s.
