Denver weather: Hot, sunny weather Sunday with possible afternoon thunderstorms

A cold front will move in Tuesday and could bring thunderstorms with it

Hot, sunny weather is in store for the Denver region Sunday, with a slight chance of afternoon thunderstorms.

Temperatures will hit a high of about 93 degrees, according to the National Weather Service at Boulder, with a 20% chance of storms after 2 p.m. and again after 9 p.m.

Monday’s weather will be much of the same temperatures but without the possible storms. A cold front will move in Tuesday and could bring thunderstorms with it, according to the weather service.

Tuesday will see an about 40% chance of thunderstorms, with a high temperature of 83.
