The Denver Metro area will see partly sunny skies today with temperatures in the mid-80s, according to the National Weather Service.

There’s a 60% chance of rain in the afternoon and evening, with temperatures tonight in the low 60s.

Showers and thunderstorms will become widespread across higher elevations in the early afternoon and strong storms could develop over the plains.

The mountains will see temperatures in the mid-60s.

On Sunday and through the first half of the week, high temperatures around Denver will remain in the mid-80s with a chance of afternoon rain.
